Tourism

The kids deserve to be happy as well.
For the grown-ups, gastronomy, history, art and leisure options tilt the balance to its favor as a destination. But for the kids, what really matters is the play section, what would be more entertaining to do during the trip. For the ones who go to Shopping Recife with the parents, there are some good options to stimulate creativity and play until they get tired.
The first stop of the day can be at Pequenos Moleques, on the upper floor. Wide and full of attractions, the place receive kids from six months old, with the presence of the parents. From four years old on, the kids may be left to the monitors, so the adults can walk around the mall. It’s that right strategy when it is necessary to take a breath from the rush of the trip, or focus on shopping, which is not easily tolerated by the kids. While the parents work out on what they need, the kids can have real fun at the toy library, at the small house, playing basketball, soccer, foosball, playing on the bouncer jumper or on the slides, in the circus, reading or participating in art workshops (phew!). There are so many things that the minimum time of 15 minutes doesn’t have to be considered an option - or else, get ready for the crying...

The infamous twin set “restaurant with playground” is reinvented in Coco Bambu, on the ground floor of the mall. Colorful and full of attractions, Espaço Kids is the right place for boys and girls unleash their energy right next to the adults, while they taste the regional contemporary menu in the house. It offers an obstacle course, a ball pool, a rug with toys and a little table to make art and take home as a souvenir. The good point is that it won’t take up so much space in your suitcase.

Another option that combines convenience for the parents and high-quality fun is Vila 7, that has a space inside Tio Armênio restaurant, on the ground floor. It’s a toy library full of educational games, a little wooden house, musical instruments and animals of various sizes, shapes and colors to stimulate the kids’ motor coordination and creativity. There are several books and costumes for kids wear the characters and create their stories. A pedagogue stays in the area, interacting and encouraging kids to try new games. Up to three years old, the kids have to be accompanied by their legal guardians.

On the ground floor, there is another exclusive equipment for kids inside Skillus. With glass walls, that allows the parents to watch how their kids behave while having the fun, the playground has a wooden obstacle course, with movable bridge, slide and several toys. Little chairs made of straw are also available. Kids up to 9 years old can play. Up to 3 years, parents must accompany them.
